I’ve always believed that getting dressed is about so much more than clothing—it’s about how you feel. I got my first job at 14 years old and worked consistently through high school until I was 22. Along the way, every role taught me invaluable lessons in customer service, communication, adaptability, and caring for people—qualities that continue to shape Lou Amore today.

As the years went on, I realized my passion wasn’t in building someone else’s dream—it was in creating my own. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build something meaningful. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I launched my very first business creating handmade lip scrubs. To my surprise and excitement, I sold out. Although I chose not to continue because of the challenges the pandemic brought, that experience gave me something even more valuable: the confidence to believe I could build a business of my own.

That dream eventually became Lou Amore.
